Tender description

South Ayrshire Council is undertaking a market scoping exercise, under Regulation 40 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015, seeking notes of interest from Service Providers who can provide a Flexible Family Wellbeing Service. Lot 1: Ayr and Ayr North – including Ayr, Prestwick, Troon, and other associated Villages Delivery of this proposed service will take a whole family early intervention and prevention approach, supporting families who face multiple adversities, with at least one child aged 0 – 12 years, resident in the household. The proposed provision will be flexible and offer peripatetic support within the family home and the local community where appropriate, as led by individual family’s identification of need. There will be a focus on working with families’ strengths, building resilience, and enabling and encouraging families to build relationships with other resources in their local communities. The proposed provision should take a holistic, trauma informed approach to working with individuals and whole families, with a focus on building capability and wellbeing for families. The successful Service Provider(s) will deliver Services which provide Person Centred Support to children and their families, enabling children and their families achieve their outcomes as per their Child Assessment and Plan; and meet all the requirements of the Service Specification. Lot 2: Carrick Area – including Maybole, Girvan, Ballantrae and other associated outlying Villages Delivery of this proposed service will take a whole family early intervention and prevention approach, supporting families who face multiple adversities, with at least one child aged 0 – 12 years, resident in the household. The proposed provision will be flexible and offer peripatetic support within the family home and the local community where appropriate, as led by individual family’s identification of need.
