We have a very suitable consultant but cannot reconcile the rate needed with the statement “The rate cannot exceed your maximum rate”I am assuming that this is based on a rate card submitted 2 years ago and with the view that DOS5 would finish Dec 21. As the framework has extended and employees, pay and charge rates plus employment costs have risen dramatically in this period could ‘our maximum rate be allowed some flexibility and allow us to submit. Yes we can allow some flexibility. We will be taking into pricing when evaluating supplier responses. 5. Will this contract be remote for the entire duration? Yes, potentially we could arrange for a researcher to gain guest access to an office if required, but the team that this work sits in are dispersed across the country, so there is no one central location in which we are all based. 6. What is the day rate for this position? The business case was based around a proposed day rate of £500.00 per day per researcher. 7. Please can you confirm the level of clearance required? The required level of clearance is CTC (Counter Terrorism Check). 8. Is this position inside or outside IR35?
