Tender description

Fast Terminals Ltd (“the Company”) invites tenders (“Tenders”) to this request for tenders (“RFT”) from those qualified and experienced operators for the provision of the services as described in section 1.2 (the “Services”). Tenderers must have the capacity and experience to provide a full service cargo management service and be in a position to offer qualified advices and services to Fast Terminals as to the safe storage and stowage of a full range of Port cargoes. The Services comprise: Scope of Work – Description of Service details: The service provider shall provide the services at Drogheda Port, Town Quays in Drogheda and at Tom Roes Point Terminal. In 2021 Fast Terminals serviced approximately 120,000 tonnes of bulk cargo via its warehouses and direct to transport, 33,000 tonnes of bulk cargo via open storage and approximately 48,000 tonnes through the IED licenced facility. The Service provided will need to be able to show that it has the minimum capacity and qualification to cater for these volumes and also demonstrate how the service provider intends to provision for future growth in volumes. Fast Terminals currently provides minimum KPI service levels to its customers. The indicative KPI for bulk cargo ranges from 240 -300 tonnes per hour. IED cargo is 170 tonnes per hour and break bulk cargo 100 - 200 tonnes per hour. Fast Terminals determines and instructs the locations and availability of storage for its customers. Fast Terminals also instructs the dispatch of cargo to the service provider for its customers. Fast Terminals offers a non-discriminatory service to all port customers. The services required: 1. Bulk cargo management for a full range of bulk cargoes stored in warehousing. 2. Bulk cargo management for a full range of bulk cargoes stored in the open yards. 3. Industrial Emissions Licence Management services 4.
