16+ High Support Needs Accommodation

Tender description

The Council has commissioned a high quality 16+ supported accommodation provision for young people with high support needs. The service will provide person centred and outcome focused housing related support to young people aged 16 to 21 with high support needs, including Looked After Children, Care Leaver, and young people under the supervision of the Youth Offending Team who have an established local connection to Hampshire. The procurement vehicle will be an open framework and the contract length will be an initial term of four years with the option to extend for up to two further 12 month periods. The Open Framework will reopen annually on 1st of October (or the next working day thereafter). The Council reserve the right to open the framework sooner than this given date. Lot 1: Placements within Hampshire Boundary The Council has commissioned a high quality 16+ supported accommodation provision for young people with high support needs. The service will provide person centred and outcome focused housing related support to young people aged 16 to 21 with high support needs, including Looked After Children, Care Leaver, and young people under the supervision of the Youth Offending Team who have an established local connection to Hampshire. Providers on Lot 1 of the Framework shall be able to provide Post 16 Placements in the geographical location of Hampshire. Lot 2: Placements Outside of Hampshire Boundary The Council has commissioned a high quality 16+ supported accommodation provision for young people with high support needs. The service will provide person centred and outcome focused housing related support to young people aged 16 to 21 with high support needs, including Looked After Children, Care Leaver, and young people under the supervision of the Youth Offending Team who have an established local connection to Hampshire. Providers on Lot 2 of the Framework shall be able to provide Post 16 Placements outside of the geographical location of Hampshire in areas such as Southampton, Portsmouth, Surrey, Kent and London etc.
