Tender description

The University of Derby would like to procure five custom built research aquariums, to be used in the College of Science and Engineering. Research aquariums need to be built to the following specifications: Five research aquariums with following specifications: • • 1250mm (L) x 800 (W) x 400mm (H) • • 12mm glass sides and 8mm double base • • Low Iron fronts, • • Black back and sides • • Aluminium Profile Stands • • Sump • • Plumbing • • External Weir • • Returns nozzles All five aquariums would be serviced from one central top up reservoir One main display tank with the following specifications • • 2200mm (L) x 800 (W) x 600mm (H) • • 12mm glass sides and 10mm double base • • Low Iron fronts and sides • • Black Background • • Aluminium Profile Stand • • Sump • • Plumbing • • External Weir • • Return nozzles • • Individual top up reservoir One quarantine tank with the following specifications • • 2500mm (L) x 800 (W) x 600mm (H) • • 12mm glass sides and 10mm double base • • Low Iron front • • Black Back and Sides • • Aluminium Profile Stand • • Sump • • Plumbing • • Internal Weir • • Returns nozzles • • Individual top up reservoir The university would require delivery of all five aquariums within 4-8 weeks of receipt of a purchase order.
