AWARD NOTICE for the design and manufacture of radiofrequency (RF) coils that are to operate with an FFC scanner to produce images, at a magnetic field corresponding to a signal frequency of 8.5 MHz. Lot 1: Torso Coil Array AWARD NOTICE - Lot 1 comprises a coil array designed for the imaging of the torso and lower belly, to be used as a receiver-only system in conjunction with a whole-body RF coil built separately. Lot 2: Head Coil AWARD NOTICE - Lot 2 comprises an RF coil following a birdcage design for the imaging of the head. This is a transceiver design, meaning that it produces both the high-power RF pulse and the low-voltage signals.
