PURCON1013 - Civic University Collaborative Platform

Tender description

The Civic University Project at UEA is an ongoing 5 year project. The outcome of this initial phase (up to mid 2023) will lead to the publication of the charter as part of UEA's 60th anniversary celebrations. UEA is a member of the Civic University Network and aims to complete a Civic University Agreement as part of this process. The University of East Anglia is writing a charter with the people of Norfolk and Suffolk about it's civic commitments. To do this we are using in person Open Space Events following the approach of Harrison Owen. These are engaging and participatory day-long events which produce an edited book at the end as a record of proceedings. We are running three of these events on the 30th April, 7th May (student led) and 14th June. We are looking for a research partner to run an integrated or parallel process that enables those who cannot make the physical events to contribute to the outputs we will use to draft our charter.
