Provision of Multi-Disciplinary Consultant Services for Development of Recreational Trail Connecting Waterford Greenway with Suir Blueway Tipperary

Tipperary County Council and Waterford City and County Council to secure the services of a suitability qualified, experienced and competent Architectural or Civil/Structural Engineering Led Consultants (Integrated Multi-Disciplinary Team) to work with both council's in-house teams, community partners and other stakeholders to begin the process of realising the vision of a fully off road recreational (walking/cycling) trail between the Suir Blueway at Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary and the Waterford Greenway near Kilmeaden, Co. Waterford. The study will provide a detailed baseline study to identify the potential routes, preliminary design, cost of development, land acquisition/consents/licensing and preparation of the preliminary business case. The study must carry out a constraints study to identify a preferred route and outline the environmental assessments required to bring the project through planning and statutory consents in line with stage (i) of the CWMF Feasibility Study/Preliminary report, based on the preferred route option.
