Tender description

Newport City Council invites expressions of interest for the provision of Families First Services in Newport. There are four lots: - Lot 1 – Key Stage 2 (age 7-11) - Lot 2 – Key Stage 3 (age 11-14) - Lot 3 – Key Stage 4 (age 14-16) & Young People (age 16-24) - Lot 4 – Disability theme The services will be procured in accordance with PCR 2015 Social & Other Specific Services Regime and the procedure used will be competitive procedure with negotiation. The contract will be for a 2 year period with a possible extension of 3 years & 3 months on an annual basis, with the last extension being 1 year & 3 months. Lot 1: Key Stage 2 (age 7-11) Providers or Consortia must provide a service that enhances and complements, but does not duplicate the services already offered by the contracting authority. Providers in their bid must: a) Identify a vision, strategy and plan b) Consider the population needs c) Identify resources that will provide support for children and young people d) Identify any gaps in workforce and how this will be mitigated (workforce planning) e) Explain how they will work in partnership with other organisations f) Outline how the project will be managed g) Outline plans for engaging with the community h) Deliver quality services i) Use evidence-based interventions j) Outline information governance policies/procedures k) Explain how information will be provided to families l) Demonstrate effectiveness of interventions m) Engage children and young people in the project design and implementation n) Gather the views of children and young people during and post-intervention o) Highlight how children and young people will access provision p) Outline how the service will meet the diverse needs of Newport and Welsh language requirements q) Carry out local evaluation More detail of the requirement can be found in the specification within PQQ_33297 that can be accessed via etenderwales..
