PROVISION OF DRIVER TRAINING FOR BRITISH FORCES CYPRUS

Tender description

The Authority has a requirement for a 3 (three) year contract to provide driver training services to British Forces Cyprus (BFC) on a call off basis. BFC have a Defence Licensing and Testing Authority (DELTA) set up to Co-ord the training. The requirement is to provide full category B, B+E, C, C+E and D1 driver training to personnel within BFC. Lot 1: The Authority has a requirement for a 3 (three) year contract to provide driver training services to British Forces Cyprus (BFC) on a call off basis. BFC have a Defence Licensing and Testing Authority (DELTA) set up to Co-ord the training, this is in line with Memoradum of Understanding (MoU) the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has agreed with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency and the Delta Inspectorate. The requirement is to provide full category B, B+E, C, C+E and D1 driver training to personnel within BFC. Instructors may be subject to a MOD assessment in the following areas: driving ability, instructional ability: including teaching, manoeuvring and trailer uncoupling; identification and rectification of student driver errors. The Authority will provide all vehicles.
