This is a Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) on the feasibility and potential scope of the provision of complete and fully assembled COVID-19 sample collection kits for PCR testing from manufacturers. However, this PMC is not a call for competition. Lot 1: Following this PMC, the UKHSA may conclude that a procurement is not the best solution to meet a particular strategic outcome. The UKHSA may conclude that it would be better to do something entirely different to the intent within this PMC. It is essential that any organisation participating in the PMC understands that a procurement opportunity is not guaranteed. Should a procurement opportunity arise subsequently, involvement in the PMC will not affect an organisation's positioning either positively or negatively.
