Tender description

UL would like to invite tenders for the provision of a family history electronic resource (database) for the Glucksman Library in the University of Limerick. The database should include family history, migration, and civil records including births, deaths and marriages. It should also have and parish records and directories e.g., Thom’s Directory to support the teaching and research needs of the Humanities disciplines e.g., History, Geography, Sociology and Historical Geography. The database should include datasets of Irish and global genealogical records to allow students and researchers in migration studies, for example, to trace the personal journey of migrants from one country to another. The database should be accessible online with a modern, mobile-optimized interface, to support online students of our History of the Family programmes where participants are globally dispersed.
