Tender description
DIAS seeks to purchase a pool of magnetotelluric (MT) instruments including: wide-band MT systems and long-period MT systems. . A detailed specification of requirements is set out in Appendix B OF THE MAIN TENDER DOCUMENT available for upload (Specification and Requirements) of this Request for Tender. Tenderers must comply with the format of tender as set out in Section 2 for main tender document (Format of Tender). As can be seen from Appendix B (Specification and Requirements) of the tender document we are looking for sets of one type of instrument: a) 8, 10 or 12 wide-band MT (induction coil magnetometer type) systems (“Instrument”). We are asking Tenderers to provide quotes for any part or all of the supply, and delivery of the Instrument and all relevant system testing components. To facilitate this, the tender has been broken into three lots (the “Lots”) as follows: 1.Lot 1(a): Eight (8) wide-band MT (induction coil magnetometer type) systems with recording, storage and data transfer capability and associated equipment testing components. 2. Lot 1(b): Ten (10) wide-band MT (induction coil magnetometer type) systems with recording, storage and data transfer capability and associated equipment testing components. 3.Lot 1(c): Twelve (12) wide-band MT (induction coil magnetometer type) systems with recording, storage and data transfer capability and associated equipment testing components. Note for Lot 1 (a), (b) and (c): DIAS would encourage all Tenderers who can supply wide-band MT (induction coil magnetometer type) systems to submit a separate bid for the various options of 8, 10 or 12. DIAS would like to procure a number of these systems and will not know until all bids are in and evaluated exactly how many can be acquired from available funds. The supply of higher quantities may include additional discount if applicable. Tenderers are entitled to submit a tender for each and every Lot.
