Bridgend County Borough Council wishes to procure a service to respond to the support needs of families, through a service provided by volunteers.The aim of the programme is to recruit and train volunteers to offer information, advice and support on practical home management matters, including giving advice and guidance to families in developing routines and boundaries within the home.There will be a requirement to provide support to build confidence and empower parents/carers to access specialist services and organisations who are able to help them with their individual needs e.g., acquiring savings, accessing the correct welfare benefits, debt advice, attending appropriate appointments such as dental, GP’s and schools.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
