Although Sprout was not the cheapest option, it offers the best functionality for our needs and is validated through its widespread use across the Higher Education sector. In advance of contract renewal we looked at Sprout against competitors on G Cloud, again concluding that Sprout is the best supplier for our needs. However we were not able to move to a G Cloud contract before autorenewal. We are now working with Sprout to ensure we are ready to move to a G Cloud contract in September 2022. Extensive checks of G Cloud carried out for competition, only Sprout has the functionality to meet our requirements, however we were unable to complete the paperwork before the current contract auto renewed. The supplier advised unable to renew on a G Cloud contract at this stage (supplier also does not fully understand G Cloud but is happy to work through for next year).
