Provision of Out of Hours Personal Dental Services for Powys Teaching Health Board

The population of Powys is approximately 138,000 and it is estimated that around 70,000 residents have access to an NHS dentist (equivalent to around 51% access). Powys Teaching Health Board recognises there needs to be additional access provided on Weekends: Lot 1 – Saturday A three and half-hour session each Saturday; Bank Holidays (pro-rata basis) - a three and half-hour session on each Public/Bank Holiday including Christmas and New Year’s Day. Lot 2 – Sunday A three and half-hour session each Sunday; Bank Holidays (pro-rata basis) - a three and half-hour session on each Public/Bank Holiday including Christmas and New Year’s Day.
