Tender description
Homes England grant funding of £28.1 million has been requested for the period 2022/23 to 2025/26, to bring forward and deliver the required infrastructure to unlock 1,509 new homes in the Back of Ancoats urban area, located to the east of Manchester city centre in the area known as Eastern Gateway. The Grant Recipient is Manchester City Council (MCC). The area is subject to market failures and development constraints which the following infrastructure will address; mobility hub, public realm, land acquisition, site remediation and design fees (Infrastructure Works).
