Tender description

The existing scheme of gallery drawers was uniquely designed in 2008 by Glasbau Hahn and these are being refurbished/retrofitted for accessible, secure display of textiles. This is a specialist bespoke product, constructed to museum sector standards. The specialist knowledge of Glasbau Hahn of the existing drawers scheme means it is not possible to get comparison quotes for the specialist refurbishment. Lot 1: Award of a contract without prior publication of a call for competition as per PCR 2015 regulation 32 (2) (b) (ii) competition is absent for technical reasons. The technically specialist retrofit services can only be supplied by the particular economic operator who designed the equipment.
