01913 - Courier Services for the SPS

Tender description

The SPS requires a Supplier for Courier Services across its organisation. Courier Services in SPS is a commodity, it is split into two distinctive but similar areas – Same Day services and Next Day services. The bulk of the SPS requirements are with Next Day services for internal deliveries throughout the sites within its estate and there is also a requirement for external deliveries. Additionally, there is a much smaller requirement for Same Day delivery services. The Contract Term shall be 4 years with the option to extend for any number of periods up to a maximum of 3 years. The SPS identified the Crown Commercial Services Framework for Courier and Specialist Movements (Agreement ID – RM6171) Lot 1 – Collection and Delivery as the best route to market. All of the suppliers on the framework were contacted by in advance and this drew attention to the mini-competition opportunity.
