Tenderers are invited to submit a response for Radio 2 Live Ticketing Operation. This will be a 2 day flagship UK annual touring Event. Radio 2 Live is a brand new 2 day flagship event, which will travel to a new city every year to help reach new audiences for Radio 2 and the BBC. The event will build on the success of Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park celebrating the best of the station’s music, with extraordinary live performances from an array of top UK and international artists, reflecting the diversity of the networks playlist and bringing the radio presenter personalities to new audiences. The event ethos is ‘Bringing everyone together to feel great’ and enjoy the spirt of Radio 2. During the weekend the event will host up to 35,000 visitors per day (70,000 ticket holders across the weekend plus 1500 guests each day), with 30 artists performing across two stages. Previous Radio 2 events have featured performances from Pet Shop Boys, Kylie Minogue, Manic Street Preachers, Boyzone, Westlife, Sheryl Crow, Elton John, Madness and Status Quo. Alongside the mainstage, Radio 2 live will host a second covered stage, which will primarily be a DJ led stage, which will celebrate the music and culture of the 80s and 90s expected stage capacity of approx. 4000.
