Taking Care of Customer Water Supply Pipes Qualification System

Lot 1: This procurement process is a joint call for competition to establish a qualification system by Severn Trent Water Limited ("STW") and Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig ("HD") pursuant to the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 ("UCR 2016"). STW and HD wish to establish a qualification system for the purpose of sourcing replacing Customer Water Supply Pipes (the "Qualification System"). The purpose of this Invitation to Qualify ("ITQ") is to assist participants to qualify onto the Qualification System. Successful participants will then be eligible to receive Request for Proposals ("RFP") for their qualified categories under the Qualification System. The Qualification System will be split into the following Categories:- Category 1 Public Side works including, but not limited to: Public side works excavation to mains Public side backfill and reinstatement Meter and Boundary Box Installation Backfill and reinstatement of public side Connection of new service pipe to water mains and testing Category 2 Private side works including, but not limited to: Inspection of property, detection of lead pipe and design of new service pipe installation Private works External - excavation and installation of new service pipe using suitable technologies Private side backfill and reinstatement Private works Internal plumbing Category 3 Temporary traffic management and planning, scheduling, despatch and coordination of activities
