Specialist Emergency Lifting Chairs for Care Homes in North East Essex

Tender description

This is a Contract Award Notice to communicate a contract award made by NHS North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (the "CCG"). The contract award is made to Felgains Ltd for the provision of Specialist Emergency Lifting Chairs within 20 identified care homes across North East Essex, and to provide the appropriate I-Stumble training, equipment training, maintenance and repairs of the equipment during the contract term, and to work with the care homes to enable system reporting on effectiveness. This contract will aim to safeguard the lives of residents by ensuring they are lifted promptly after a fall, reduce avoidable hospital admission, keep residents at home and reduce impact on the emergency services and associated healthcare professionals. This contract will run from 9th March 2022 until 8th March 2023, at a total contract value of £70,900 (plus VAT). The CCG is publishing this Contract Award Notice in the Contracts Finder in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended by The Public Procurement (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020) for spend above £25,000.
