Specialist chairs for use by referrred clients of Cccupational Therapists

<p>Swindon Borough Council (SBC) purchases three main types of chair for use in the community to aid adults with improving mobility and comfort . The first is a basic chair which is not the subject of this soft market testing . The second is a more specialised chair where are seeking to set up a framework contract with the optimum number of 2 suppliers . The contract will be for four year, initially set up as a 2 year contract with the option to extend for a further two years subject to performance and agreement. The requirement is for specialist chairs which are usually modular in approach to meet the needs of clients and can be adapted as needs change . Bespoke made to order/ very specialist chairs are not being included as part of this requirement. The Authority is keen to ensure equal and fair treatment to all suppliers and given the range of products, supply chain issues, product pricing challenges would be grateful for your response to the following questionnaire in order to develop an attractive proposal to the market. The aim is to place a four year contract with estimated quantities (per annum) &ndash; these will not be guaranteed but provide the best estimate of demand that we have currently.
