Refurbishment of existing hockey pitch at SWNC, Cardiff

Sport Wales are looking into the refurbishment of the existing hockey facility at Sophia Gardens to maintain its reputation as a centre of sporting excellence and facilitate a base for Hockey Wales whilst enabling international hockey events to take place with a state-of-the-art facility. The refurbished hockey turf pitch will become a FIH certified Category 2 field (formerly described as a FIH Global category field).
