Tender description

Northumbrian Water would like to appoint a supplier(s) for the provision of a Meter Data Management System and associated System Integration and Implementation Services as part of it's ongoing Smart Metering Programme. Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL) deliver both regulated and non-regulated water and wastewater services, one of 10 such providers in the UK, to just under 4.4m customers, operating principally in the North East of England and Essex and Suffolk. The business is headquartered in Durham and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Cheung Kong Hutchison Holdings (CKHH), based in Hong Kong. The business turns over £900m and has circa 3000 UK based employees. The business is recognised as a leading customer service organisation with strong ethical values. The requirement is being tendered in 2 Lots. Following the tender process, NWL would like to award a 5+2+2+1 year contract, with the aim of awarding a single contract to one supplier or a contract for each of the following lots - Lot 1 - Meter Data Management System Lot 2 - Meter Data Management System + System Implementation & Integration Services Lot 1: Lot 1 - Meter Data Management System Northumbrian Water would like to appoint a supplier(s) for the provision of a Meter Data Management System as part of it's ongoing Smart Metering Programme.
