Tender description

Clearfell two hectares of 50 year old Larch with Sitka Spruce (fell to waste/recycle). Restock two hectares of native broadleaves at 1600/ha. Erect 2000m of deer fencing. Clear felling (felling to waste/recycle) two hectares of 50 year old Larch plantation with some Sitka Spruce. Brash management. Ground preparation/manual screefing and restocking of an alternative area with two hectares of native broadleaves at a density of 1600 stems/ha to create an upland oak wood. Trees (plugs) to be provided by supplier. Planted trees (notch planting) to be protected by vole guards. Erection of 2000m of deer fencing with two gates.
