Corserv Ltd on behalf of Cormac Solutions Ltd are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to under take Roof repair works to Wadebridge Leisure Centre, Bodieve Road, Wadebridge, Cornwall PL27 6BU. Please provide a fixed price quotation for re-roofing the Sports Hall in accordance with the recommendations in the attached RAM Building Consultancy report, ref:1921, all of the work must be carried out by a competent roofing contractor i.e. a contractor who is NFRC registered and must comply with current Building Regulation requirements. All of the existing tiles, battens and under-felting are to be removed and cleared from site to an approved tip or waste recycling centre. Allow for supplying and installing new Redland Regent interlocking tiles, fixed to 25 X 50mm treated battens, with Tyvek Supro breather membrane draped over the existing rafters, ensuring adequate head and side lap, with an eaves support tray to the open edge of the roof. All work must be carried out in strict accordance with the tile manufactures installation instructions, taking into consideration the site location, conditions, exposure levels, etc. Allow for supplying and installing new matching ridge and hip tiles, mechanically fixed to roof structure with stainless steel fixings. Allow for providing all necessary access equipment, welfare provisions, security measures, safety controls, signage, etc., and for project managing the work from inception through to completion, including obtaining any statutory approvals required, i.e. Building Regulation approval, Planning consent, etc. Please note when pricing that the solar panels will be removed and reinstated by Cornwall Councils Solar Framework Contractor who will need to utilise the scaffolding, please allow for providing access and for closely coordinating activities. This will be carried out under a JCT minor works contract. This tender will be evaluated against a 80% commercial / 20% quality criteria.
