Tender description

Supply of solid state technician's interlocking technicians terminals. Supply of solid state technician's interlocking technicians terminals. It is envisaged that the proposed technical solution would provide the following: • The Technician Terminal (TT) is an interface which enables the technician/engineer to connect to the Solid State Interlocking (SSI) system. One TT has the ability to connect to up to 6 SSI Interlockings; • The TT continuously monitors the SSI system and provides the technician with information concerning the state of the external signalling equipment; • The TT enables the technician to apply controls and restrictions to the characteristics of the associated SSI’s. Interlocking changes-of-state, status and fault messages are recorded for incident and failure investigations; • The Interlockings connected to the TT can be stopped and started from the TT; • The TT has a front end interface which allows the technician to log in with password protection; • The TT must be approved for use with the SSI Interlocking.
