Provision of Consultancy Services for the Production of a More and Better Woods Action Plan, Gateshead

Gateshead Council is committed to the role it can play in mitigating the impacts of human activity on the environment and to this end wishes to develop and publish a ‘More and Better Woods Action Plan, Gateshead. The Action Plan will form the basis of the Council’s woodland creation strategy for the next 10 years and will identify methods to better manage and utilise the Council’s existing woodland resource. Helping to address the sequestration of local authority carbon emissions, providing a resilient landscape for woodland habitat associated species and delivering additional environmental and socio-economic benefits. The Council therefore wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor(s) to develop and produce the ‘More and Better Woods Action Plan, Gateshead’
