<p>LGfL delivers broadband connections and a range of ICT services to schools and educational establishments, local authorities, health and social care services and other public bodies. It operates as a central purchasing body and the aggregator of demand on behalf of those contracting authorities. LGfL is seeking to contract with a provider to supply and implement a Proactive Technical Online Monitoring Service (&ldquo;Service&rdquo;) for the provision of &lsquo;appropriate monitoring&rsquo; as specified in Keeping Children Safe in Education to on its network and for the benefit of it customers. LGfL is seeking proposals from suitably qualified suppliers to provide the Service to its network of over 3,500 schools. The Service will provide alerts to schools in line with LGfL&rsquo;s functionality requirements to ensure that designated safeguarding teams are made aware of individual events and trends helping them to keep children safe online and respond in a timely fashion with informed by clear evidence that can potentially save lives. Alerts may relate to bullying or other peer-on-peer harassment or abuse, child sexual or criminal exploitation and related grooming, as well as markers of self-harm and suicide, radicalisation and a range of other key safeguarding areas</p> Keywords: software
