N61 Ballymurray to Knockcroghery Road Project - Topographical Survey Contract

Tender description

Roscommon County Council in partnership with Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) are procuring a topographical surveying contractor to carry out a topographical survey for the N61 Ballymurray to Knockcroghery Road Project. The N61 Ballymurray to Knockcroghery Road Project comprises the construction of a new national primary road (approx. 13.8km long) and all ancillary works. The survey area is located to the south of Roscommon Town in the midlands region of Ireland. The section under consideration commences south of the urban fringe of Roscommon Town to a point south of Lecarrow, approximately 14.9km south of Roscommon Town. The Detailed Topographical Survey Contract includes establishment of control, undertaking a topographical survey and production of a digital terrain model. The survey will provide digital survey data including points, breaklines, contours and ground model. The survey information will be used to develop the preliminary design in advance of planning and then be used to develop the subsequent detailed design and contract documentation for the N61 Ballymurray to Knockcroghery Road Project
