Tender description

The Top and Bottom Labelling Solution to comprise of a Thermal Labelling System. The supplier will supply a handling system with mounting for the Top Labelling and Bottom Labelling process. The Labelling heads will be mounted above and below the split conveyor belt. The conveyor will be split into two sections and the label will be applied through the gap in the conveyor belts. The system will have a variable speed module and a 300mm wide food grade belt with adjustable side guides. There will be product sensors mounted at the side of the conveyor system. As each pack passes this sensor, a signal will be given to the Labelling head and the labels fed and wiped onto the pack by the respective applicators. The system will incorporate label delay modules to allow the label to be positioned accurately onto each pack without moving the sensor or application position. The system should have a low footprint and should easily be movable to other production lines. .
