Joint Commissioning of Home Care and Support in Leicestershire: The Home Care for Leicestershire Service Leicestershire County Council, East Leicestershire & Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group and West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group are intending to procure a new Home Care for Leicestershire service. Before the procurement is launched, we will be holding a pre-procurement engagement event with the market, which will focus on supporting market readiness in the independent sector. The virtual market engagement event is being held on 12 March 2021 and the aim of the event will be to give an updated overview of the proposed model for delivering a sustainable countywide home care service through the independent sector, which will be effective in supporting individuals to achieve their desired outcomes in their local communities. Further details of the agenda for the event will be issued to those who express an interest in attending the event. We anticipate that the tender opportunity will become available in April 2021 and that the new Framework will commence in November 2021.
