Ground mounted solar PV at Flint Landfill and Crumps Yard

Tender description

Flintshire County Council (the Council) wishes to install a 2.1 MWp ground mounted solar PV system on a former landfill site in Flint and a 1.656 MWp ground mounted solar PV system on a former industrial site on Dock Road, Connah’s Quay (known as Crumps Yard). The Council is now seeking proposals for the turnkey design, installation and commissioning of the system with grid connection to form a fully compliant and working installation. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in January 2020, and the design and construction will be undertaken by November 2020 for both sites. Following completion of the construction works, the Contractor will be responsible for providing warranty and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services for two years. Grid connections have been secured for both sites and planning applications are underway.
