Tender description

Under its Corporate Social Responsibility policies, ESB has implemented Contractor Employment Standards (CES) to ensure that all counterparties with whom it does business complies at all times with all employment laws applicable to their staff. CES ensures that all contractors working with and on behalf of ESB uphold the rights of their workers and employees under the relevant employment legislation applicable to the jurisdiction where the work is carried out. In support of this policy, ESB has particular audit requirements in relation to service and/or works contracts awarded by ESB, where the contract has a significant labour content and the work is carried out in the Republic of Ireland.
