Tender description

Bord an Mona want expressions of interest from suitable service providers with the plant and equipment to carry out chipping of logs at various sites throughout the midlands and to deliver all chips produced to Edenderry Power Plant. Tenderers must have chippers capable of a daily output of 8 – 12 loads (Circa 150-200 Weighed Tonnes) and must own or have access to a fleet of walking floor trailers for the immediate delivery of chips to the Power Plant. Chippers must be capable of handling logs ranging in diameter from 7cm to 60cm and log lengths which generally range from 3.1m up to 5m. Service providers must be capable of carrying out operations at 2 or more sites at the same time.
