Tender description

The Marine Institute, a semi State body, wishes to invite tenders for the supply of technical services for the delivery of work programmes carried out by the Fish Health Competent Authority Office (CAO) within the Marine Institute’s Fish Health Unit (FHU). This service is required for 3 years between May 2021 and April 2024. The Competent Authority Office for Fish Health in the Marine Institute is responsible for implementation of EU (EU directive 2006/88) and National (SI No 261 of 2008 as amended) regulations regarding the health of aquaculture animals in Ireland. In April 2021 new Animal Health Law Regulation EU 2016/429 and associated implementing regulations will come into force and replace the existing regulatory framework for aquatic animal health controls in the EU and Ireland. A requirement exists for the supply of technical services within the Fish Health Competent Authority Office in the Marine Institute. This is an Open Invitation to Tender to any qualified providers to respond for the supply of technical services (Fish Health) from May 2021 and April 2024.
