Substance Misuse Treatment Services (Leicestershire and Rutland)

Please note this is a prior information notice. Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council are intending to procure an Integrated Substance Misuse Treatment Service across the Leicestershire and Rutland areas incorporating community based services for adults and young people. It is also anticipated that this service will include in-patient detoxification, residential rehabilitation and criminal justice pathways. Previously this requirement was part of a wider integrated service, but potential bidders should note that going forward this service will be separate from services commissioned by Leicester City Council and NHS England. The current contract ends on 31 March 2022 and therefore we anticipate the new contract that we will shortly be procuring will start 01 April 2022. We anticipate that the tender opportunity will become available in May/June 2021. This notice serves as advance notice to the market of our intentions and potential bidders are encouraged to register an interest on our e-procurement portal - www.eastmidstenders.org.
