RFI - Virtual Data Rooms

Tender description

The OGCIO is researching Virtual Data Rooms as part of the Public Service Data Strategy. The proposed adoption for Virtual Data Rooms is outlined in the Public Service Data Strategy. 1. A PSB requests data for a specific and legal purpose, in line with GDPR with the necessary Data Sharing Agreements in place 2. A governance process approves or rejects the request as they see fit, again taking into account GDPR 3. A dedicated Virtual Data Room will be generated with access to the requested dataset, limited only to the specific need of the request 4. Access to the Virtual Data Room is strictly restricted to authorised project personnel only and with all actions logged for future auditing 5. Once analysis is complete, approval is sought for the output and their coding / project work through an appropriate governance process 6. Once released, the Virtual Data Room is destroyed. However we will endeavour to persist linked datasets to prevent duplication of work. We are looking for responses from those organisations with experience and knowledge of sharing private or public data. An understanding of data rooms would be beneficial also. All costs incurred for the development of a response to this RFI will be borne by the Supplier.
