Tender description

The Irish Defence Forces (DF) requires a continuous and guaranteed supply of various munitions to train personnel, validate operational standards, test equipment, and for deployment on operational and security duties both on-island and overseas. The Minister for Defence (the ‘Contracting Authority’) is seeking responses from economic operators (‘Candidates’) through this pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) with a view to establishing multi-lot framework agreement(s) to meet the requirements of the Irish Defence Forces for the supply of pyrotechnic natures. The purpose of this pre-qualification questionnaire is to obtain sufficient information from candidates to enable the contracting authority to evaluate the capacity and capability of candidates to provide the products sought. Any party may request to participate in this initial (Phase 1) procedure. Only those candidates deemed by the contracting authority to have the proven requisite technical and professional capacity and capability to provide the required products (Military pyrotechnics) will be invited to participate in the next stage (Phase 2). The contracting authority does not guarantee that it will proceed to Phase 2 for any or all of the lots.
