Holiday Activities with Healthy Food Provider Forum

<p>In November 2020, the government announced the Holiday Activities and Food Programme will be expanded across the whole of England in 2021.</p> <p>The programme has provided healthy food and enriching activities to disadvantaged children since 2018. &pound;220 million is being made available to local authorities nationally, to coordinate free holiday provision across the Easter, summer and Christmas holidays in 2021.</p> <p>Durham County Council have been allocated funding to coordinate the delivery of this programme for children and families across the county.</p> <p>To help shape the delivery model, we are holding a partner provider forum on Thursday 4th March 10am &ndash; 12pm over TEAMs where we can share further information from DfE regarding funding for Durham and hopefully bring a range of partners together so we can formulate a plan for the way forward in 2021.</p> <p>If you would like to attend on the 4th March, please email <strong>vcsalliance@durham.gov.uk</strong> and we will forward a diary invitation nearer the date.</p> Keywords: healthy food, children, activities
