Tender description

<p>Wolverhampton City Council (the Council) are seeking to procure a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor for the second stage of the Wolverhampton Art Gallery&rsquo;s renovation programme. Phase two works comprise a new Caf&eacute; area and re-configured Entrance Lobby to Art Gallery. The works includes the provision of; &bull; A new accessible entrance to the Art Gallery - removal of existing external steps and re-grading of the pavement level to accommodate the new entrance/level. &bull; Installation of new automated glazed doors to entrance &bull; Re-located and re-configured caf&eacute; area including a new toilet block The proposed terms and conditions for this project are the JCT Intermediate Building Contract with Contractor's Design, 2016 Edition. It is assumed that any supplier returning a tender for this requirement will have a copy and is familiar with these terms and conditions and will have previous experience of executing contracts on this basis. The Works are forecast to continue for a period of 6 months.
