Tender description

The University of Strathclyde are looking for an in-situ analytical probe to expand our current process analytical technology capability. Our primary interest is in the monitoring and control of particle evolution (crystallisation) processes with a secondary interest in tablet dissolution applications. The probe must be able to provide real-time information of particle size and particle morphology. High quality and high resolution imaging (less than ten microns) must feature in the technical solution. With a continuous need for the investigation of complex systems, combining a spectroscopic technique with the physical particle measurements has become essential. For complete synchronisation of data, all three measurements must be possible from a single probe.
