Semi-independent Living accommodation for Care Leavers

Prior information notice regarding a market engagement event for a provider/s to deliver support services for our care leavers residing Contact person - email Hayley.rees@wokingham.gov.uk In Wokingham our vision is that young people will leave care as resilient, self-sufficient, aspirational individuals, equipped with the skills to achieve long term successful independence. Currently there is difficulty finding suitable placements for our care leavers who require semi-independent accommodation. It is a struggle to find provision within the borough, that meets quality standards and that represents value for money. In order to breach this deficit, we are developing a new semi-independent living housing scheme within the borough of Wokingham which is due to open in the Summer of 2021. We are therefore seeking a provider to deliver 24/7 support at the service. There will be a Market Discovery workshop online on Wednesday 24th February from 10am - 11am.
