RFI: Request for information from the market in relation to identifying a publisher for a Defence Forces centenary history publication.

Tender description

The Defence Forces seeks feedback from the market in advance of potentially issuing a Request for Tender (RFT) to identify a suitable publishing consultant for the Defence Forces Centenary Book (working title) to be published in Q4 2022. The book be a high-quality publication, consisting of a 40,000-45,000 word academic but accessible narrative history of the Irish Defence Forces, and 150-200 high quality images, which will be a combination of photographs and archival documents. The research and authoring of the text, and the selection and digitisation of the images, is currently being undertaken by Dr Eoin Kinsella, with the supervision of an editorial board.
