Tender description

The purpose of this tender is to procure the supply and install of a new digital microscope with flexible arm stand for use at the National Museums Collection Centre in Granton, Edinburgh National Museums Scotland is seeking to purchase a new digital microscope to study the collections. Imaging is a key element of any conservation and research undertaken on the museum’s collections. The requirement is for a high-resolution digital microscope set-up with a range of lenses, automated Z-stacking, 3D profiling, and option to be mounted on a long-reach flexible arm to allow in-situ investigation of artefacts.
