Tender description

The candidates will work to the G6 Policy Manager and will be responsible for policy co-ordination, analytical support and stakeholder engagement across Whitehall and externally which underpins delivery. Particularly they will: - Identify and take forward activities to ensure successful delivery of acceptable levels of border operability for SPS goods by working with others (including industry) to identify weaknesses in existing plans and identifying solutions to problems or weaknesses raised and implementing these solutions fast - Play leading roles in preparing submissions, responses and updates for XO / XS and other Ministerial and senior official groups on border operability. - Contribute towards project planning and project documentation. - Identify and monitor project risks and issues and develop mitigating actions - Contribute to internal and external project reviews. - COVID-related restrictions permitting - some travel within the nations and regions should be expected. - Join a national campaign to raise stakeholder awareness of new export processes and new working arrangements as the end of the Transition Period approaches.
