Tender description

The University is looking for a partner to supply predominantly desktop computers, notebook computers, hybrids, monitors and peripherals, though there may be scope to supply further items such as tablets, VR and emerging technology in the future. There will be the need for a number of close to the box services wrapped into the offering. UoE's Requirements (a) The main supply agreement will be concentrated on a core list of items, ‘base models’, but there will be a consistent need for ‘advanced’ or bespoke/build to order specifications to meet the needs of the various customers. (b) The whole service element is absolutely critical in ensuring that the internal owners of this agreement, Exeter IT, are able to meet their own stringent SLAs both from a quality perspective as well as time and accuracy. (c) The winning supplier will be required to integrate with the newly implemented ITSM tool by Axios. Whilst the exact specifics of this are yet to be determined, suppliers are expected to understand that this is a fundamental element of the successful delivery of the service to users. This is further explored in the relevant sections of the tender. Contract Term The contract term is a 3+2 year arrangement.
