ASCEND: Expressions of interest in Invitation to Bid to supply Trachoma Surgical Kits to Tanzania and Zambia

Health authorities in Tanzania and Zambia are looking for a supplier of Trachoma Surgery Kits, which include Trichiasis kits, waddel clamps, operating loupes, trabut plates, sterilising boxes, epilation forceps and suture equipment. Crown Agents Limited, as leader of the consortium managing ASCEND, now invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified bidders to receive the tender documents in order to bid to supply these items to Tanzania and Zambia. The Contract will be for a period of approximately 2 months. Delivery will be required by approximately mid May 2021. This is an open competition under which bids are invited from any organisation. Bidders may be commercial (for profit) firms, faith-based, and non-profit organisations, either independently or in partnership or consortia. When requesting the ITB, please ensure that your email contains the ITB reference number above in the subject line. The deadline for expression of interest in receiving the ITB is Tuesday 23rd February 2021 at 12pm GMT. Late expressions of interest will be rejected. The ITB will be issued shortly after this date. Bids will be evaluated in accordance with procedures and evaluation criteria described in the ITB. The successful bidder will be invited to negotiate and sign a contract based on terms set out in the ITB.
