Tender description

<p>The National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC), wish to undertake market engagement to discuss our requirements for the services of a technical consultant to provide advisory and quality assurance services to support the scoping of a complex tender for the development and optimisation of ukfrs.com.</p> <p>The services we require will include:</p> <p>- Assurance of the product developed to date (codebase / infrastructure review)</p> <p>- Advice/options on how best to approach the roll out, operating model and ongoing management and governance of the Service Integration Tool product and its userbase</p> <p>- Advice/options on best route to market to achieve the outcomes desired</p> <p>- Support in drafting specification documents to account for the above</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The consultancy should have knowledge and experience in:</p> <p>- The scoping, design and implementation of Managed Service frameworks both within public and private sectors</p> <p>- Managing public sector procurements</p> <p>- Using and working with a range of content management systems, including Drupal</p> <p>- Web design and user experience</p> <p>- Integrating products into systems</p> <p>- Integrating products into organisations</p> <p>- Defining product management models</p> <p>- Procurement of systems/services that meet the described NFCC needs</p> <p>- Assessment of suppliers that provide these systems/services</p> <p>We would like to hear from companies who are interested in providing these services and feel they have the capability and experience necessary. An initial introduction will provide interested parties with some further background information on the project and an opportunity for companies to give an introduction and overview of themselves and the services they can offer relevant to the opportunity.
